January 31 - February 2, 2020 Workshop in Luxembourg
Luxembourg hosted a group of young women from Belgium, the Netherlands together with Luxembourg women engaging in the BeNeLux Mentoring Program on Leadership run by the BeNeLux Unions of Soroptimist.
This program is one among many Mentoring programs being encouraged on various topics by the European Union of Soroptimist.
This meeting took place at 'Atelier Sophie Medawar', artist in Luxembourg.
Interesting time by sharing knowledge, skills and values.

Setting Objectives - Achieving Goals - Mentoring Relationship
The new Soroptimist International BeNeLux Mentoring Program focusses on young woman with leadership potential.
It aims to support them to achieve their goals and have an impact on their professional, public and personal development go hand in hand with strengthening a commitment to society.
The aims od the Mentoring Program ar in line with the goals of Soroptmist International:
- improving the status of woman,
- ensuring equal opportunities for women,
- advancing women as decision-makers,
- creating and expanding a network of
Women for Women.
During the mentoring process the Mentor, as an exprecienced leader, offers her partnered Mentee professional advice, individual feedback and access to an established professional SI network
The Mentee and Mentor Tandem will be from the same country
Soroptimist International BeNeLux provides its network and the knowhow of its members, who are experiences women in leadership positions.
Target audience
The BeNeLux Mentoring Program of Soroptimist International is aimed at women, currently professional active, who:
- have 3-5 years of professional experience,
- hre aiming for a leadership or management position,
- support networking between women,
- understand the importance of civic and social responsibility
- are interested in an international exchange.
Participation is limited to 15 young women from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Your investment
As Mentee, you contribute
- 600 € towards to the program (training material, conference room and catering coats for the workshops)
- an additional costs of a max of 250€ for hotel accommodation and travel for the workshops (twin-bedded room an car sharing)
Your return of investment
- Sharing of knowledge with woman leaders
- Access to a high-quality Mentoring Program delivered by SI professional leadership trainers and SI Mentors on a solidarity base
Timing
The program is intended for young women with career aspirations and offers 9 months of mentoring from October 2019 to June 2020.
Three international training session will be held in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
- Kick Off Event: October 4-6, 2019 workshop in Belgium
- Mid-Term Reflection Workshop : January 31 - February 2, 2020 workshop in Luxembourg
- Closing Conference: June 12-14, 2020 workshop in The Netherlands
